As i am on a payg tariff i want to limit data usage. as such i would like to download only the email headers and then only download the email and attachments if i decide i want to. i haven't managed to find an app which gives this option and is this available using pop and imap. Android news i android apps occasionally it stops displaying the text in the body of the email and the only way to see what is in the email is to restart the phone. it is okay at the moment. Blue mail is one of the most popular email apps out there. it supports a variety of clients, including gmail, yahoo, outlook, office 365, and virtually any other pop3, imap, or exchange clients.. When i receive 1 or 2 jpgs, the gmail app shows them both without me having to download them (and the "preview" and "download" buttons still show up right under the pic). when i get more than, say, 4-5 jpgs, then the phone will show only the first couple of them, and then you see only the buttons to download/preview the rest..
